Hugo Chavez sued for alleged acts of terrorism, conspiracy and human rights violations does the UN arrest him?

MIAMI — A nonprofit group has sued Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez for alleged acts of terrorism and human rights violations, including conspiring with Colombian guerrillas, al-Qaida and the Taliban.

Freedom Watch, which advocates for ethics in government, filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Miami federal court on behalf of Venezuelan journalist Ricardo Guanipa. According to the filing, Guanipa worked for Radio Marti in Venezuela and received death threats after investigating government corruption. Radio Marti is the U.S. government’s broadcast to Cuba, with the stated goal of providing an alternative to the communist island’s government-run media.

Guanipa fled Venezuela and received political asylum in the U.S. in 2005. He now lives in Miami. Freedom Watch is seeking class action status for the case in order to include other individuals whom it alleges were also forced to flee Venezuela

Whereas Hugo Chavez is alleged to be in violation of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, who arrests him?

Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,

Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law,

If he did get arrested I am sure that "Barry" would be there to hold his hand.
That guy isn’t worth the powder it would take to blow him away.

    Hugo Chavez is a monster.

    Let’s face it.

Acts agaisnt humanity equal to Saddam Hussien.

And he should be hung upside down.

However he has made himself a good buddy with the President of the United States of America.
So, I doubt that Barack Hussien Obama is going to do justice!
    (Notice the name–Hussien—)

Would you EVER have thought that on 9-12-01 America would have a president with the same name?
    AMAZING..

lol…Who knows?…..maybe Chavez and Obama had "a closed door talk"…snort snort….bet Chavez has got some good blow!

Shouldn’t Freedom Watch be looking closer to home. Obama intends to simply dismiss the despicable things the CIA did as ‘just another one of Bush’s bad boy tactics."
    The pot calling the kettle.
Unless the US is willing to address it’s own human rights violations and violations of international rules of conduct, and bring those responsible for the violations to justice, the US does not have a leg to stand on. Disappointing that Obama has forgotten his campaign promise to restore the ‘moral compass’. Perhaps his handlers have convinced him that it’s Ok for the ’superior race’ to brutalize, humiliate and degrade those of other hues and cultures in the name of ‘national security’.
He is beginning to look more and more like an apologist for the Bush administration rather than the ‘knight in shining armor’ restoring justice and democracy and dignity to all. ‘Change’ Indeed!

Did anybody arrest Ronald Reagan for the same reasons. I don’t think so.
He conspired with the Nicaraguan terrorists, Al Qaeda and allowed Americans to support the IRA.

No; the UN can’t even enforce its own ultimatums unless the US and GB says, "Ok, we’ll do it; you guys, keep doing whatever it is you do and play nice".

Besides, a suit implies civil proceedings, not criminal so there would be no arrests. The only criminal heads of states that I am aware of that the US invaded to arrest were Saddam Hussein, Noriega, and Allende (not an invasion but he was taken care of). Especially with a socialist brother as interim President of the USA, he will not come to justice for his crimes against the Venezuelan Constitution and her peoples.

Freedom Watch is a band of extreme right-wing nutters – a so-called ‘think tank’, which is used to spread the holy word of unbridled capitalism and US omniscience. If GWB was an ethic, then it may be said to advocate for ethics in government.
Hugo Chavez’ main crime against the right wing is his supply of cheap oil to poor and needy people in the US. This was the trigger which unleashed the lies which you parrot.
Please inform us of the barbarous acts which you allege amid your rant.
