Hey, if you’re living in a nut house surely it’s best to have someone who understands the nutters in charge!

I hear that America is like museli…

…full of nuts, fruits and flakes!

Not a true christian, one who lives the simple ideals of the faith (like Jimmy Carter) but a fake manipulative creepy one like the one currently in office is downright scary.

He is not a President, He is King. Notice that nothing He does is stopped?

The Democrats play you for a sucker when they mewl about demands He do this or do that, irrespective of their mewls He does what He wills, that is a King.

Oh yeah, would you really want a Leader that based his decisions upon retards of the likes on this forum by polling? Clearly, 99% of these posters are tards.

I’ve never thought of it that way but yes. An agnostic would be best for president.

There’s Christians and there’s Christians. Some are ok. Some are f**king bonkers. Just like everybody else. Having an American running America, now, thats f**king scary.

only if he uses his religion to dictate the country. You can be Christian and be a good president as long as you don’t break the separation of church and state. I’m an atheist, so i’m not promoting christianity, but it doesn’t really matter to me the religion of the president as long as he doesn’t try to force it on anyone.

Christians are competent, intelligent, and level-headed. There is nothing wrong with one running the country. Wouldn’t it be the same with an atheist? There are as many loony atheists as Christians. You really shouldn’t make blanket statements, especially about things you know nothing about.

The Americans like to get a president to reflect the kind of Movie they think they’re in at the time.
In the Eighties, they were the gun-slinging Cowboys. John Wayne was dead, so they got Ronald Reagan instead. Now they think they ware on a crusade to save the World from Satan, so a religious fanatic kind of fits the bill.
So unless they decide they are in the mood for a sort of Woody Allen-esque, sophisticated rom-com, Hilary Clinton doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in Hell, does she?

there are many repectable, intelligent, wonderful people of the catholic faith. we are most unfortunate to not have one of those people running the country however. I believe an athiest president would be best : he/she doesn’t side with a relgion but yet is still a good moral person that is respectable. so while there are good christians and bad christians, and good presidents and bad presidents, bush fits into two of those catgories. its so rediculous.

Fair point. A little succinctly put and over simplified, but fair.

I guess I would rather have someone with a belief system that follows the laws of God, which by the way , are what our country was founded on, and when followed in the spirit in which they were given, do not appear to have done anyone any harm and answers to those laws in his own life, than someone who answers only to other politicians and people who try to influence the country for their own profit.
