NVQ Student Wins Visa Appeal at AIT – Asylum and Immigration Tribunal 230409
NVQ Student from the Philippines wins Appeal at AIT against her entry clearance refusal in Manila 2007. She appealed to the AIT after the Entry Clearance Officer at the British Embassy Manila refused her student visa because he did not believe she was coming to the UK to study and that the NVQ in Health and Social Care at majestic College in London was below her Filipino Masters Degree. Appeal specialists Bison UK refuted the claim before an Immigration Judge at the AIT in Hatton Cross this year on the grounds that if she wanted to overstay she would have done so on two previous visits, and that she was entitled to change course or career. The judge agreed and allowed the appeal. She has proved that she fully intends to follow the NVQ course and study by attending Majestic College the day after arriving in London.
