A difficult situation in purchasing insurance heal

If your employer does not yet provide insurance health as an employee
benefit, and you’re considering taking out a policy for you and/or your
family on your own, you will face a few hurdles. The first is price.
Policies purchased from the insurance company on an individual basis are
incredibly expensive, ranging from $70 to $500. After price, there is the
lengthy and arduous task of qualifying for the insurance company’s products.
A qualifying period could take as long as 6 to 12 months! During this
period, it’s possible to avail of benefits, but if it’s found out that you
did not claim a particular preexisting condition, you will retroactively be
denied any funds reimbursed to the provider, and as a consequence, you will
owe these amounts.
