As you may know, when economic times are rough, crime rate is elevated. No matter where you live, be it a major metropolitan area, or out in a more rural environment, crime is an unfortunate reality.

Carrying a personal self defense weapon is prudent for any law abiding citizen. A self defense spray such as mace, or even a high voltage mini stun gun is a great way to protect yourself and members of your family from attackers. One of the most important factors when deciding on a particular device is ease of use and portability. You don’t want to get something that is a hassle to deploy, or so bulky that you’ll never want to carry it.

Setting Small Goals

I like to set small goals. To me reaching goal is a tremendous accomplishment and the more goals I reach the better I feel. It has a positive psychological effect to realize accomplishment. I start out by picking a target or a “finish line” and then I break it down into small steps. It does not seem as overwhelming when you are looking at a small step as opposed to goal that may seem like it is miles away. Reaching goals will keep you motivated to reach the finish line. But before you can finish, you have to get started and there is no better time than today!

Why Social Anxiety Disorder Isn’t Shyness

There are a lot of misunderstandings in the world of anxiety disorders. Unless you’ve experienced one first hand, it’s very hard to appreciate exactly what they are and what it means to live with one.

And one of the biggest misunderstandings about any anxiety disorder is one about social anxiety disorder: namely, that someone who has this problem is simply “shy.”

That is not the case.

Someone with severe social anxiety disorder isn’t shy. They genuinely fear contact with other people, the same way someone else might fear spiders or the dark.

By spreading the word on what social anxiety disorder really is, hopefully more people will be understanding when they encounter someone with this ailment.

I do know, you have got simply broken up. You’re feeling absolutely terrible. It might have been your fault but you continue to feel depressed, downhearted and miserable. Learn ways to get ex back. These feelings are solely natural, I do know, I’ve felt them and had to take care of them myself.
