Can a person locked up in an insane asylum be extremely intelligent and blessed by God?

An asylum is where they lock up crazy people, like Batman’s Arkham Asylum. Harley Quinn is locked up there sometimes and she’s smart, I think.
The point is, I believe that when we cast aspersions and claim that some people are not worth listening to, it can very unwise of us, since sometimes good things come from unexpected places. What say you?
I agree! Some of my best ideas came from people that didn’t know what they were talking about. I wanted to prove them wrong but they turned out to be right! I think people who aren’t very knowledgeable can have still have great ideas. People who know too much, like me, limit themselves because they think they know that certain things ‘just can’t be done’.

Many people in asylums are highly intelligent. I don’t know about the blessed ny god part, though. Doesn’t seem like they’re very blessed if they’re locked up, does it?

From what I understand the Illuminati controls many asylums. What petter place to control and destroy people. Is beauty in the hands of the beholder like psychology is in the hands of the Controller.

I was declared the campaign manager by some random person in a public library (he was running for president in 2000). He was the cool kind of crazy, but taught me how to get your name on a ballot.

God can reach into the deepest recesses of a persons mind. He can meet someone where they are at even if they were in a coma. So, yes someone in an insane asylum can be blessed with God.

I’ve met plenty of intelligent people who have had problems with mental illness at some point in their lives.
There is still a strong stigma attached to it, but mental illness is really not that different from any other illness people may have. We have treatments that can help these people cope, and they learn strategies to overcome their problems. Most can manage to become productive members of society.
Asylums are not what they used to be. Usually, a person will spend a stay at a mental facility after a particularly acute crisis. This is often the first time they discover they have these problems. They have never been treated and the disease can take more extreme forms. But most people with such problems can overcome them, sometimes almost completely. In many cases, you’d never know there ever had been anything wrong with them unless they cared to tell you.

Just because one has mental issues and is in an Institution does not make them stupid . There are lot’s of people in society that need to be in a Mental Institution and never have been there . God likes everyone !

yes. When I was locked up, God was in the room next to me. Every day he would go around the halls blessing everyone. There were many intelligent people in the ward and all of them were blessed by God. It was wonderful. If you vomited on the floor or crapped in your bed, god would send men in white coats to clean up the mess. When we woke in the mornings, we went to this room where God’s kind servants filled our plates with bacon, eggs, orange juice, oatmeal and toast with melted butter. Then when breakfast was over we would go back to our rooms and all the beds were made, the toilets were clean, there was fresh water in the pitcher and the curtains were open to let the sun shine in. All we needed to do was follow the rules, be good Christians, and do exactly as we were told. Our days were spent playing card games, weaving baskets, or licking urinals. We were all truely blessed by God.

Many think they are God, mental illness seems to have close religious connections for many that suffer.

Yes, I knew such a man.
Gentle, caring, intelligent, self-sacrificing, absolutely devoted to God and the true search for God, he never complained and he never sought his own wants and desires over the needs of others.
It was a great privilege to have known this shining soul.
