Asylum

Could you please give me Arguments for and against on the issue of letting Asylum seekers into our country.

Also could you give at least 2 points for each if you don’t mind.

For-cant think of any
Against- drains our resources-financial and housing,take jobs,cant be bothered to learn the local lingo,expect us to comform to their beliefs

   I’m going to say no, but I think that they should at least pull 2 years of military service before being declared citizens. Otherwise I must say no. Our country is stressed no as it is trying to take care of its self.

   For: Helping people in desperate need to escape horrendous situations is a good thing
   Multicultural society can benefit new generations against ignorance and encourage knowledge and tolerance

   Against: The Economy is in bad shape and it’s not the right time to be making room for new people, there are no jobs or spare tax payers cash for benefits
   Some asylum seekers are not really telling the truth about their situations or background. Rather they are opportunists.
