will I be deported immediately if I seek asylum at Heathrow, UK?

Posted on January 29th, 2010 by admin

I am thinking to seek asylum at UK, and there is political reason. However, I just wonder does the laws let offices deport me at airport when I claim asylum if I’m traveling from a country to UK with valid student visa.

Actually, I have been in UK for three years, and come back to my country but during the time in UK, I have known a lots more about the history of my country in general view and it is quite different with what I was taught in my country. Therefore, I just created free information website to advice young people to express their opinions and the truth about the history of my country in other country education such as UK. However, because of that, people in my country accused me is against the government. I now feel completely unsafe in my country and some unknown people started to follow me and ask me about the source of information.

Because I have been in UK and my guardian in UK is really good then i want to seek asylum. So, just wonder if there is any chances for me to fly to UK. Need advices quickly, I need to decide my life in 2-3 days before it is too late.
To those two answered this question:

I fullly understand that what you think. But if you live in a communist country and come to a better education like UK and study a lot more then you will understand what i’m thinking. 90% primary pupils never have sport lessons during the time at school. They are not encouraged to study arts, music or stuff like that.
Young people are never allowed to study politic except communist stuff.

At the end, I thinking UK because I have been here fore three years and just 17 years old. My friends are in UK, my guardian is in UK and still study hard to get good grades(AAA for my AS so far). I don’t want to or either try to be a weight for UK, I want to be useful people. But I just want to safe place because I strated doing that stuff and just think it’s useful for young people. In my country, we never have a MPs younger than 50 years old.

Finally, really dont know how to explain to people that hate me to understand my situation.
Sorry, there are couples of grammatical errors in above paragraph.

Yes you will be deported as i’ve dealt with worse cases then yours and they have been deported. the uk border agency are so tough these days thanks to certain individuals trying to scam the system. Good Luck.

Immigration question?

Posted on January 29th, 2010 by admin

Can anyone help me analyse the following order by immigration judge for me?

1, The respondent was ordered removed from the UN
2, Asylum was denied
3, Withholding of removal was granted
4, Respondent’s application of witholding of removal not considered

For this case, I have case number, can i check this case online? Attorney is asking for more money to process this case , what should this respondent do?

Thank you!

Did you copy the order correctly? Number 3 and 4 conflict with each other. If withholding of removal was granted, how is it possible that the application for withholding removal was not considered? Which one is true?

If asylum is not granted, an alien may still be eligible for withholding of removal.

In order to qualify for withholding of removal under section 241(b)(3) of the Act, you must establish that it is more likely than not that your life or freedom would be threatened on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a
particular social group, or political opinion, in the proposed country of removal.

If you were granted withholding of removal, this would not give you the right to bring dependents to the United States.
It also would not give you the right to become a lawful permanent resident of the United States.

What are currently laws surrounding Asylum seekers or refugees??? Top points for best answer!!!!?

Posted on January 29th, 2010 by admin

Like once they arrive in the uk and are granted asylum or if they are allow to stay here,Are they allowed to stay here forever or do they go back when the situation in the country of their origin has been resolved?

How long have you got?!

Asylum-seekers are usually housed and accommodated by the Home Office while awaiting a decision on their claims. They are not allowed to work or get mainstream benefits. This was often years, but now is usually a few months.

If their claims are accepted, often after appeal to the courts, they are usually given five years residency, at the end of which their situation should be reassessed to see if it is safe for them to return. During the five years, they have the same rights to work and benefits as UK citizens. If it is decided that they should remain, they would eventually be able to apply for UK citizenship.

If their claims are refused, unless they have children, they are evicted from the Home Office accommodation and their support is stopped. They are still not allowed to work. The Home Office in theory sends them back, but in practice there are many countries to which returns are very difficult, there is a huge backlog, and also having evicted the people it is then hard to find them.

All this is a great simplification. The rules have changed countless times in response to tabloid pressures, so there are many other situations that arise.

In general, the life of asylum-seekers is pretty miserable, unlike what people read in the papers. People also often confuse asylum-seekers with other types of migrants, for example East European workers. The term refugee is generally reserved for asylum-seekers who have been given a positive decision.

Hope this helps.

Why do Serb propagandists use California or New Mexico as an example when comparing the Kosovo situation?

Posted on January 25th, 2010 by admin

When in reality they are not even remotely close. They claim that the situation in Kosovo is like Mexican immigrants in those states whom outnumbered the natives and now seek independence. Here is why it not the same:

1. Kosovo has always had an Albanian element to it, perhaps not with these numbers as you see today but Albanians have always been natives in Kosovo even when Slavs came down from the other Carpathian mountains. It was never clear cut if it was part of which country.

2. No mass exodus has ever been recorded in history where Albanians immigrated from Albania proper into Kosovo especially post WWII, or illegal crossing of any kind. Even the few dozen lucky ones that escaped Albania were give political asylum in other countries.

3. Albania had a chance after WWII to join Yugoslavia but risked war not to and Albanians had no reason to move to Kosovo en mass as claimed by Serb bigots. Both countries were dirt poor and both devastated by the great war.
4. If Mexican-American took a vote never in a million years will they vote to split from the USA. The USA is the reason they entered those lands in the first place. Because in the US the individual rights of a human being are valued, while in Yugoslavia Albanians were second class citizens.

5. Look at Puerto Ricans they have had many refferendums and never succeseed and they are 90% Hispanic and with their own language, culture and all but they failed to come up with the needed results democratically and they did do it the US and the world would honor they wishes and not threaten war Serbia is doing.

All in Serbia wants Kosovo but does not want it’s inhabitants and if left unchecked it deport all of them illegally by force and this why the have no international support for their cause or sympathy.
Hi Vivet, The native Americans experienced genocide. But today they have their own reservations and they have virtual independence and are considered a priveldged group, were they pay no taxes have many different grants for college, and are filthy rich by run casinos in their reservations.
Also vivet perhaps in the summer of 1999 when the returning Albanians were furious but I thin the fear factor today is exaggerated.
Smart guy I have nothing to say to you because your tainted ways of thinking is what has gotten your people in so much hot water in the last two decades.
Whom are you? Karadzic? Turn yourself in and be a man do not hide behind the computer talking about Serbian patriotism and then steal money under the pretext of war while thousands of innocent people get killed to satisfy your ignorance and greed.
Hello Jelena, nice to see that you are doing well and I hope this question finds you in good spirits and great health, but in 1941 Tito send Miladin Popovic to organize the Albanian communist party and basically swallow Albania into the Yugoslav federation Albania was intended to be the 7th republic but Enver Hoxha’s ideology and Tito’s version of communist utopia differed. So I never said that Albania was ever part of Yugoslavia but Yugoslavia did have designs on Albania.
Also Jelena the influx of refugees into Greece and other countries is post 1993 once communism collapsed. This is a fact by this time Kosovo was 85% due to natural birth rate, and the Serbs selling their properties to Albanians with hard foreign currency due to the fact many had jobs abroad in Western Europe.
Greeting Goxy, There is no denying Serbia presence in Kosovo. You see I’m a firm believer in the theory that when two entities come in contact with one another both are changed forever no matter how small or brief the contact is. So this is why we are changed Albanians and we want our own country called Kosovo, with a Serb minority in Mitrovica. A multi ethnic Kosovo were the majority rule.
Pershendetje Vetvendoshja,
Are you Albin Kurti I’ve been curious for a while now?
WHAT UP, WHAT UP, AQ
Pass the Dutchie my brother and if you going to drink and drive stay in you lane suckaaaaaaa!

1) who cares who was there first, both Serbs and Albanians are there for more than a millenium
2) Serbs and Albanians are not the only inhabitants of Kosovo, there are Goranci, Turks, Circassians and Roma people (more commonly known as Gypsies) as well
3) Yugoslavia was poor after the war but Albania was poorer, and after Enver Hoxha refused to join Yugoslavia he made it even poorer and they were completely opressed till recently. Albanians in Kosovo and Macedonia and other parts of Yugoslavia were much better off than those in Albania.
4) If Kosovo gains independence the rights of minorities should be taken care of
5) Solution country for the Kosovo would be an independent country with shared power
6) Serbia is like Nokia phones: with every year it gets smaller
7) The whole partition thing and wars in Balkan is stupid. All the people of Balkan should unite and compete in the global world. The people who benefit from all the conflicts are neither Serbs nor Albanians nor any other Balkan people but Westerners who hang around Balkan like vultures. The problem of Balkan people is that they like to live in past and don’t look into future.
8) If Serbs complain about natality among Albanians they should learn how to make babies
9) Balkan gangsters are world’s top class, they’re taking over the entire European underground scene. When it comes to drug and weapon trade Albanians, Serbs, Bosnians, Slovenes, Croats, Yugoslavian Turks, Macedonians and Montenegrins don’t mind to cooperate, so why can’t we do this in other fields too, not just crime?
